Description: Furthermore, a publication program of the J.M. Kaplan Fund, invests in the publication of nonfiction books in the arts, history, and the natural and built environment. Funding may be used for writing, research, editing, design, illustration, photography, indexing, printing, and binding. Priority is given to projects with a committed publisher and a clear distribution plan. Grant recipients are based throughout the U.S. and occasionally abroad.
