The City of Midwest City is accepting applications for an Animal Welfare Manager in the Animal Welfare Department. The incumbent will work closely with the Assistant City Manager to establish and maintain operational standards for the Animal Welfare Division. The incumbent is responsible for overseeing daily activities involving Animal Shelter and field operations. Associate's Degree or equivalent and knowledge of Animal Welfare practices including the handling and care of animals, shelter procedures, facility maintenance. Must be able to possess and maintain Euthanasia Technician license through the Oklahoma Veterinary Board, and Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs (OBNDD) and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver license and be insurable. Starting Salary: $61,319 - $64,928/year – with benefits.
