Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with a focus on financial reporting, compliance, and analysis. This position prepares financial statements and supporting schedules, performs reconciliations, adjusts general ledger accounts as needed and reports financial results to appointed and elected officials.

Responsibilities

- Work independently and with team members to produce accurate financial information and analysis
- Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes
- Reconcile various bank accounts and general ledger accounts
- Research and analyze revenue and expense variances for management

Qualifications

- CPA required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related finance field
- 2 years of progressively responsible accounting experience
