The City Manager serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the City and the Public Works Authority and is responsible for directing the implementation of Council policies, and projects or programs approved by the City Council. The City Manager is also responsible for directing the development and administration of the City's annual budget, capital improvement program, and operation activities of all City departments.
A successful candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years of progressive management experience in municipal government as a City Manager, Assistant City Manager, or Public Works Director. The preferred candidate will posses a bachelor's degree in public or business administration with a strong emphasis on planning, finance, and contract administration.
Salary and benefits are commensurate for the region and are open for negotiations depending on management and education experience.
