Quality Communities Grant
OML Quality Communities Grant Program
The Oklahoma Municipal League (OML), along with OU’s Institute for Quality Communities (IQC), is once again offering the Quality Communities Grant Program. This program is open to all Oklahoma cities and towns.
Over the past few years, OML and the IQC have collaborated on several community projects. Common subjects submitted for grant consideration include land use, urban design, public spaces, historic preservation, streetscapes, and other aspects of the built environment. Studio courses may also address building projects, with emphasis on multi-family housing, senior housing, healthcare, commercial and industrial building types, or cultural facilities.
OML will be providing up to $2,500 of the funding requested to the communities whose projects are selected by the IQC.
The IQC is a community engagement program in the Christopher C. Gibbs College of Architecture offering conceptual design and planning assistance projects to support experiential learning for students in the program.
The deadline for grant application submission is April 18, 2019. To find out more information about the program and to learn about the information needed in your proposal, please go to the OU IQC website.
