Description: AMHSA’s Zero Suicide program provides funding to healthcare systems to implement the Zero Suicide framework for adults at risk of suicide. The framework is built on core principles: committing to eliminate suicide through improved access and quality of care, managing care across the health system, and using evidence-based clinical practices to reduce suicide risk. Eligible applicants include community-based primary care or behavioral health settings, state and local health agencies, U.S. territories, and Tribal organizations. Awards are cooperative agreements for up to five years.
