Description: The Weyerhaeuser Family Foundation’s Sustainable Forests and Communities Initiative supports efforts that strengthen the environmental, economic, and social well-being of forest-based communities in the U.S. Funding focuses on sustainable forest management, conservation, ecological restoration, and community-driven economic development. Priority is given to projects that create forest-related jobs, strengthen markets for sustainable forest products, or promote other long-term conservation strategies.
