Finance & Office Manager - MESO

Position: Finance & Office Manager
Municipal Electric Systems of Oklahoma (MESO)

Full-Time | Exempt
Salary:
$60,000–$68,000 annually

Municipal Electric Systems of Oklahoma (MESO) is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Finance & Office Manager to serve as a key member of our small team, overseeing the association's financial operations, office administration, and supporting the success of our members, staff, and leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain financial records, prepare monthly financial reports, assist with annual budget development, and monitor financial performance

  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll

  • Coordinate the annual audit and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors

  • Oversee daily office operations, vendor relationships, contracts, and administrative functions

  • Support employee benefits, personnel records, and HR administration

  • Occasional travel is required

  • Assist with conference registrations, member billing, and board reporting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred

  • Minimum three years of accounting or finance experience

  • Nonprofit/municipal accounting experience preferred

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities
