FOR TOWN ATTORNEY LEGAL SERVICES
TOWN OF JONES CITY, OKLAHOMA

The Town of Jones City, Oklahoma is seeking proposals from qualified attorneys or law firms interested in providing professional legal services as Town Attorney. The selected attorney or firm will serve as legal counsel to the Town of Jones City, the Jones City Board of Trustees, the Jones City Public Works Authority, Town officers, departments, boards, commissions, and staff as directed or authorized by the Board of Trustees and/or Town Administration.

The Town is seeking a responsive, experienced, and practical municipal attorney who understands Oklahoma municipal law, public body procedure, open government requirements, personnel matters, public works and utility issues, land use and zoning, public purchasing, ordinance drafting, and the realities of advising a small but active Oklahoma municipality.

The purpose of this Request for Proposals is to identify an attorney or firm capable of providing timely, professional, legally sound, and practical legal guidance to the Town.
