The City of Collinsville is seeking a qualified and motivated Building Inspector/Code Enforcement Officer for a full-time position. This position performs inspections of residential and commercial properties, conduct plan reviews, and enforce compliance with applicable building codes, health and safety regulations, and municipal ordinances. The position plays a key role in ensuring safe and compliant development within the community.

Applicants must have:

2+ years’ experience
ICC Certification (or willing to get certified)
Code Enforcement Certification (or willing to get certified)
Knowledge of building codes
Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Applicants must have a high school diploma and experience in a related field.
