Assistant Municipal Counselor - Oklahoma City

THE CITY OF OKLAHOMA CITY IS CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS for an Assistant Municipal Counselor.  This position is located in the Utilities Division of the Office of the Municipal Counselor. This position is responsible for assisting with the representation of the Utilities Department and the Oklahoma City Water Utilities Trust (“OCWUT”). The Municipal Counselor’s Office provides legal services and guidance to the City, its officers, departments and trusts to ensure that all City operations are performed in a manner consistent with the requirements of federal and state laws and City ordinances. Experience and/or education in municipal law, public trust, public construction, contracting, land transactions, commercial leasing, public financing, grants administration, water rights and law, oil and gas, property and title law, and/or environmental law is desirable.
