The City of Catoosa, OK, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Finance Director to oversee the city's financial management, investment strategies, and fiscal policies. This full-time position offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience and provides an opportunity to play a critical role in maintaining the city's financial health. Reporting directly to the City Manager, the Finance Director will ensure fiscal accountability and transparency while supporting the city's long-term financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
•Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and best practices to uphold fiscal responsibility and transparency.
•Manage the city's revenue collection, including taxes, fees, and other income sources.
•Oversee the preparation and administration of the city's budget in collaboration with other departments.
•Monitor financial transactions to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
•Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to city officials, the mayor, and the city council.
•Ensure proper accounting, auditing, and financial controls are maintained.
•Coordinate with external auditors, financial institutions, and regulatory agencies.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, public administration, or a related field.
•Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation is highly desirable.
•Minimum of 5 years of experience in municipal finance, accounting, or a related field.
•In-depth knowledge of government accounting standards, public finance laws, and investment strategies.
•Proficiency in financial management software (Incode) and Microsoft Office Suite.
•Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
•Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
