Office Location: Code Enforcement Office, 2824 Progressive Drive, Edmond OK.

The Job
•Patrol Edmond ensuring compliance with municipal ordinance.
•Engage with citizens investigating complaints.
•Initiate corrective action to achieve results.
•Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm

Qualifications
•Equivalent to four years in high school, plus 2 years or more related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Must have or obtain a Code Enforcement Officer Certification within (1) year of employment.
•Must have or obtain a Property Maintenance Certification within (1) year of employment.
•Must be willing to work hours in excess of normal work schedule and will occasionally be required to work weekends and holidays.
•Must be able to research local and state ordinance and identify applicability.
•Must have a working knowledge of sewer piping, drainage and wastewater collection systems, or FOG pretreatment devices.
•Must be proficient in reading engineering plans, specifications, and maps.
•Required software skills: Typing, Data Entry and Spreadsheets.
•Must possess a valid Oklahoma Driver’s License and a driving record acceptable to the City’s insurance carrier.
•Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings.
