Notice is hereby given that the annual business meeting of the Oklahoma Municipal League, Inc., a non-profit corporation, will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2019 beginning at 7:30 a.m. The meeting will be at the Double Tree Hotel in the Geneva/Windsor Room(s) in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The agenda is as follows:
1. Report of the President;
2. Report of the Executive Director;
3. Adoption of the 2020 OML Legislative issues;
4. Report of the OML Nominating Committee and election of officers and directors;
5. Other business
The officers and directors to be elected during this annual business meeting are:
President, for a one-year term;
Vice-President for a one-year term;
District 1 for a three-year term ending in 2022
District 3 for a three-year term ending in 2022
District 5 for a three-year term ending in 2022
District 10 for a three-year term ending in 2022
Towns West for a three-year term ending in 2022
Officials from OML member cities and towns in the above districts, or from at-large for President, Vice-President and towns, are eligible to serve if nominated and elected.
Districts are comprised as follows:
District 1: The cities and towns in Craig, Delaware, Mayes, Nowata, Ottawa, Rogers and Washington Counties.
District 3: The cities and towns in Choctaw, Haskell, Latimer, LeFlore, McCurtain, Pittsburg, and Pushmataha Counties.
District 5: The cities and towns in Hughes, Lincoln, Okfuskee, Pawnee, Payne, Pottowatomie and Seminole Counties.
District 10: The cities and towns in Beckham, Custer, Greer, Harman, Jackson, Kiowa, Roger Mills, and Washita Counties.
Towns West: Towns West of I-35
The President and Vice-President are at-large positions.
OML By-laws requires the Nominating Committee report to be mailed at least thirty (30) days prior to the annual business meeting. Accordingly, a copy of their report is included with this notice.
