Christmas Comes to Alva

The Alva Chamber of Commerce will host their “Christmas Comes to Alva” event this year starting with the Shop Small Business Saturday beginning on November 24.  On Dec. 1, Alva retailers will host a  Christmas Open House from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Also on the 1stis the Christmas Craft Show at the Woods County Fairgrounds from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Norman Tree Lighting and Winterfest

Start the holiday off right with a community tree lighting. We will start November 30th at 5:30 pm at Andrews Park with hot cocoa, caroling and a tree lighting. Also, Winterfest at Legacy: Experience holiday joy with musical performances, games, arts and crafts, hot drinks, treats, photo-booth with Santa, and best of all a live tree lighting.

Yukon Kicks Off the Christmas Season November 17

Holiday excitement and free family fun are in store as this year’s City of Yukon holiday festivities begin on Saturday, November 17. Included are the grand opening of Yukon’s beautiful holiday wonderland: Christmas in the Park, the Kringle Karnival, the annual Chill Your Cheeks 5K Run and the Jingle Walk. Other events are scheduled during the holiday season.
