Oklahoma Drug Card

8/16/16 - big round of thanks to the Oklahoma Municipal League and their member cities and towns.  When we started the partnership of the Oklahoma Drug Card Program and the Oklahoma Municipal League a few short years ago, the program had saved Oklahoma residents over $12 million.  With the participation of the Oklahoma Municipal League, the Oklahoma Drug Card Program has now saved Oklahoma residents MORE than $40 million!

About Oklahoma Drug Card: The Oklahoma Drug Card was launched to help the uninsured and the underinsured citizens of Oklahoma afford their prescription medications.  People who do have prescription coverage may use this program for non-formulary or non-covered drugs.  The program may also be used by people who have health insurance coverage with no prescription benefits.  Medicare patients find the Oklahoma Drug Card beneficial when they enter the “donut hole” on prescription benefits.

The Oklahoma Drug Card is being funded through the participation of pharmacies and pharmaceutical companies. The program has received support from both the public and private sectors. To date the Oklahoma Drug Card has saved Oklahoma residents over $40 million since 2007. The Oklahoma Municipal League and its member cities and towns are working with the program to create awareness.  When citizens use the Oklahoma Drug Card not only do they save money on their prescription drugs, but they insure that money is spent in the local economy.

Utility Service Partners, Inc.

The National League of Cities (NLC) Service Line Warranty Program, administered by Utility Service Partners, Inc., has been an OMSC Licensed Business since 2010. Service Line Warranties of America is the consumer-facing brand for Utility Service Partners, Inc. As its name suggests, Service Line Warranties provides utility service line warranties both inside and outside the home.

OMSC supports the NLC Service Line Warranty Program for Oklahoma communities for these main reasons:

  1. The program educates homeowners as to their service line responsibilities.
  2. The added value of the service itself – studies show most homeowners have not set aside funds for unexpected line repairs.
  3. The program is offered at no cost to the cities, who often receive a share of the revenues collected.
  4. It is the only warranty program to market to residents only with the city’s permission.
  5. It is the only warranty program endorsed by the National League of Cities.

The NLC Service Line Warranty Program partners with more than 300 cities in North America and has helped more than 140,000 homeowners save over $90 million in service line repair costs.

To learn more about this unique program and how it can bring revenue and peace of mind to your community, please contact Ashley Shiwarski at [email protected] or 724-749-1097 for more information. Visit their website at http://www.utilitysp.net/
