CLD 5 Holds Graduation In Altus
The Community Leadership Development Class 5 held the 2017 graduation ceremony on Friday, February 10th at the Western Oklahoma State College.
The CLD class was given group projects as their final assignment. The project was to create a successful community RFP to make a strong business case to show a competitive advantage in the food processing industry. Christopher Suttle, Oklahoma Department of Commerce and Elesia Church, City of Elk City was this year’s judges. After all the presentations the judges deliberated and announced the winners as Group 3, Ben Orcutt, Joe Don Dunham, Julie Lenius, Jack Tatum and Tracey Aaron.
The CLD class was presented with their certificates of completion. OML’s Program Manager, Cheryl Adams closed out this year’s CLD 5 with congratulating everyone and encouraged them to have big visions for their communities and to lead the way.
